Naples events cover the spectrum of indoor exhibitions chronicling the history and culture of the region, to outdoor events ranging from parades and festivals to sporting contests. In addition, Naples hosts several art museums which present various educational programs throughout the year, as well as galleries that sponsor exhibitions by local artists. Artists who focus on Florida’s natural and cultural heritage are invited to display their works in an annual exhibit, free with park admission, sponsored by the Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park.

Everglades Seafood Festival
During the first weekend in February, the Everglades Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates the bounty of Florida's seafood with music, live entertainment, arts, crafts exhibits, and lots of fresh seafood, in Everglades City and all over the Ten Thousand Islands area.

Native American and Pioneer Heritage Days
Towards the end of February, the Collier-Seminole State Park sponsors an outdoor festival which includes a reenactment of the battles between Native Americans and the early pioneers, complete with an exposition of the arts, crafts and foods of early Florida.

Annual Florida Flywheelers: Antique Engines
In mid-March, the Koreshan State Historic Site sponsors an exposition of antique engines that date back to the roaring 20s, attended by collectors from all over the southeastern United States.

Annual Archeology Fair
In late March, the Koreshan State Historic Site hosts round-trip guided boat tours of Mound Key, where visitors will learn about the Calusa Indians and see remnants of their unique civilization.

The Gallery Victoria sponsors a competition of Florida artists during the month of April, where attendees are given an opportunity to vote on the works, in preparation for the annual Outstanding Artists of Florida Exhibition held in May, as well as meet some of the artists.

On the first weekend in November, the Collier County Museum sponsors an indoor and outdoor festival celebrating the history of Florida, complete with pirates, conquerors and early settlers, with plenty of refreshments and live entertainment to delight everyone in the family.
