Everglades National Park

Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve
A section of Big Cypress Swamp along Janes Memorial Scenic Drive, this preserve of old Florida cypress and rare native plants is fascinating to tour accompanied by an experienced guide, particularly in June when the Ghost Orchid is in bloom.
